Do Buffaloes Bring Bad Luck to Politicians

Nawaz Sharif. The former Prime minister of Pakistan is is in serious trouble. He is in jail for corruption. So is his daughter.

Lalloo Prasad former chief minister of Bihar and his wife had Buffaloes at chief minister’s residence in Bihar and even bungalow in Delhi having been alloted for being an MP in Lok Sabha. He is in jail having been sentenced for corruption.

Both appear to have had a penchant for Buffaloes and kept them in their official residences.

After the surplus car auction, 4 surplus helicopters will be sold which are lying unused with the cabinet division. Plus, now listen to this, 8 buffaloes which Nawaz kept at the PM house for his gastronomic requirements. So all potential buyers please get ready,” Mr Haq tweeted today.

RJD supremo was today sentenced to 14 years in jail and fined Rs 60 lakh by a special CBI court in the fourth case pertaining to fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 3.13 crore from the Dumka treasury in the early 1990s, a CBI counsel said here.

CBI judge Shiv Pal Singh awarded two sentences of seven years each to the former Bihar chief minister under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Prevention of Corruption Acts, he said. Prabhat Kumar, Lalu Prasad’s counsel, told journalists that he will appeal in a higher court against the judgment.

The CBI court in Ranchi had Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) President in the multi-billion fourth fodder case, but acquitted another former CM,  The case is related to the fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 31.3 million (Rs 3.13 crore) from Dumka treasury in 1990s. Judge Shuvapal Singh delivered the judgment in the case involving fraudulent withdrawal of money between December 1995 and January 1996 from the Dumka treasury. The verdict, scheduled on March 15, was deferred four times.
